Development With a Human Touch:Maximising Human Capital Potential
The Civil Service Conference is an annual event at INTAN and is the Government's effort to allow civil servants to encapsulate new ideas and thoughts for them to deliver new values and deeds for the well-being of society. The theme for this tenth conference, "Development with a Human Touch: Maximizing Human Capital Potential", was selected to enable participants to explore strategies and identity tools, techniques and methodologies to promote high performance work culture in organizations. The focus on human capital development asserts an importance in nurturing values as ethical standards and norms for a public service that may ultimately be staffed by people with a 'first class mentality'. The Conference was organized jointly by the Association of Administrative and Diplomatic Service (PPTD) and the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) at INTAN Bukit KIara on 12 and 13 September 2005.
